Pet Damage
We get quite a few customers who have pets that don’t exactly cooperate with their owners. Surprisingly, much of the pet damage done to carpet can be helped. For animal waste, we use an enzyme cleaner made by Biokleen called Bac-Out. We recommend that anyone with pets have a bottle of this great cleaner handy. You can buy it at the Boise Co-Op or Fred Meyer in the health and wellness section for around $8.00. Enzyme cleaners can work wonders with the messes that come from pets. The faster you get to it, the better it cleans. Some of the things we like about Biokleen products is that they list the ingredients, do not test on animals and are very effective. Below is an example of pet stain removal with green carpet cleaning. Green carpet cleaning is not a gimmick, totally safe products can be used with amazing results.
This home had a very small dog that was peeing under a bed. The orange spotting you see is the urine. It was a surprise to find all these spots, you really couldn’t smell it because of the lack of volume.
We used our standard mix of Green Seal Certified cleaners for this. It did not require a stronger mix or a special treatment.
